The Taiwanese PC maker MSI has now unveiled a new range of laptops in India, particularly aimed at content creators. This involves a total of three sets, including Creator, Modern, and Prestige Series with models starting Rs. 59,990 and going as high as Rs. 2,69,990.
The laptops are available in multiple screen sizes with True Pixel Display technology, and 10th-gen Intel Core processors. Ingram Micro is the sole distributor for the new series, which is currently available exclusively on Flipkart.

MSI Modern Series
The refreshed MSI Modern series gets a brushed aluminium design with a MIL-STD-810G certified build, followed by Nahimic 3 audio and Cooler Boost 3 technology with triple heat pipes.
The lineup involves MSI Modern 15 and MSI Modern 14 laptops that come in a total of five variants. The latter gets a 14-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 60Hz refresh rate and thin bezels. You can get it with up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 Comet Lake processor paired with dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics, 8GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage.
The MSI Modern 15, on the other hand, comes with a larger 15.6-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with 60Hz refresh rate. Just like its sibling, this one too gets powered by 10th Gen Intel Core i7 Comet Lake processor, bundled with dedicated NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, larger 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage.
As for the price, the MSI Modern 14 starts at Rs. 59,990 in India, while the MSI Modern 15 costs 79,990 for the base model.
MSI Prestige Series
The MSI Prestige series gets a couple of additional features over the Modern series. This includes a fingerprint sensor, 4K display with Adobe RGB 100 per cent colour gamut support, and Thunderbolt 3 ports. The design and build stay the same for the most part.
The Prestige line-up is available in two screen sizes- 14-inch and 15-inch. The Prestige 14 features a 14-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with thin bezels and True Pixel technology. You can get it with up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 Comet Lake processor, paired with Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics. Furthermore, there’s 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 512GB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage.
Whereas, the larger Prestige 15 features a 15.6-inch UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) display with Adobe RGB 100 per cent colour output. It can be configured with 10th Gen Intel Core i7 Comet Lake processor with 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage. In comparison to the 14-inch model, this one boasts of more powerful Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics.
Coming to the pricing, the base variant of MSI Prestige 14 costs Rs. 99,990, while the Prestige 15 starts at Rs. 1,19,990 and goes up to Rs 1,49,990 in the country.
Creator Series
Available in 17.3-inch (Full HD or 4K) and 15.6-inch (Full HD) variants, the Creator series touts 144Hz refresh rate, and a MIL-STD-810G certified build, followed by Thunderbolt 3 and Wi-Fi 6 support.
The smaller MSI Creator 15M houses Intel Core i7-9750H Coffee Lake processor paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of NVMe PCIe Gen3x4 SSD storage. The MSI Creator 17M packs in same internals but with larger screen size and option to go for a 4K panel. The 15M starts at Rs. 1,39,990, while the MSI Creator 17M is priced at Rs. 1,69,990 in India.
Alongside, the company has also revealed top of the line P-series, which includes P65 Creator and P75 Creator. These models are powered by Hexa-core 10th Gen Intel Coffee Lake i9 processors, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics and offer features like True Color display technology, and Cooler Boost Trinity cooling. Both the p65 and P75 bear Ultra-HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) displays and cost upwards of Rs. 1,49,990 and Rs 2,69,990, respectively.
