As scheduled, LG has now finally unveiled its W-series in India. The new lineup comprises of LG W10, LG W30 and LG W30 Pro smartphones. Notably, the LG W10 gets a traditional wide notch and dual cameras while the W30 and W30 Pro feature a water-drop notch and triple rear cameras.

All the three devices have 4,000mAh batteries, run near-stock Android 9 Pie, and bear a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as support for front-facing camera Face unlock. Let’s now talk about their specs and features in detail.

LG W10 Specifications

The LG W10, being the cheapest of all, gets a 6.19-inch HD+ FullVision Display with an 18.9:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone gets powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The room can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

As mentioned, the LG W10 gets an AI-powered dual rear camera setup at the back. The module consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with PDAF, followed by a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel camera housed by the notch.

The phone runs Android 9 Pie and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack and a micro USB port.

LG W30 Specifications

The LG W30, on the other hand, features a slightly larger 6.26-inch HD+ IPS FullVision Display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a water-drop notch. The phone is powered by the same MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that is expandable up to 128GB.

For photography, you get a triple camera set up with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 primary camera, a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera (100-degree FOV), and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Furthermore, the phone sports a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies with beauty and portrait modes.

The device packs a 4,000mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie. Connectivity options onboard include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mmheadphone jack and micro USB.

LG W30 Pro Specifications

The LG W30 Pro has a similar sized 6.21-inch FullVision panel with an HD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Compared to the former two, the W30 Pro gets powered by a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC. Furthermore, the phone packs 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable up to 256GB.

In the camera department, the Pro gets a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle (100-degree FOV) sensor. Moreover, there’s a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies.

Similar to the other two phones, the W30 Pro too runs Android 9 Pie with near to stock Android experience. The company hasn’t made any update promises yet. Moving further, the phone offers a “Stereo Pulse Sound” tech, which includes a hollow resonating chamber to amplify the sound when kept on a flat surface.

Lastly, the handset packs a 4,000mAh battery and bears 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB with OTG support as connectivity features.

LG W10, W30, W30 Pro: Price & Availability

The LG W10 price in India has been set at Rs. 8,999 for the single variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The W30, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the same 3GB/32GB RAM and storage configuration. The company is yet to announce the pricing of W30 Pro as of now!

Having said that, the LG W10 comes in Tulip Purple and Smokey Grey colour options, whereas the W30 has Thunder Blue, Platinum Grey, and Aurora Green colours to choose from. The LG W30 Pro, on the other hand, boasts of Pine Green, Denim Blue, and Black colour options.
