Lenovo has been experimenting with several new releases. The latest in the lineup is Lenovo Yoga Book. Lenovo is scheduled to launch Yoga Book with a 10.1-inch FHD display on December 13. Touted as a thinnest 2-in-1 hybrid, the company has stated to mail media invites for the launch event of Lenovo Yoga Book to be held in Mumbai. Previously, Lenovo had launched the 2-in-1 Yoga Book at IFA 2016 in both Windows and Android editions.
The main attraction of Lenovo Yoga Book is the addition of a Halo keyboard alongside a real pen accessory. The Halo keyboard features a touchscreen backlit ‘slate-like’ keyboard. However, it lacks physical keys and flaunts integrated artificial intelligence software. You can make use of the software to learn typing and navigation habits.
Lenovo Yoga Book also integrates Dolby Atmos speakers to provide you with an enhanced sound. Moreover, the tablet also provides an ability to insert a single Nano-SIM. Hence, you will be able to navigate the web on the go.
Lenovo Yoga Book specifications
On the specifications front, the Lenovo Yoga Book will be equipped with a 10.1-inch FHD display, Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor paired with 4GB RAM. The convertible ships with a 64GB internal storage, which can be extended up to 128GB using microSD card. With a thickness of 9.6mm, the Lenovo Yoga Book tablet measures 690 grams in weight.
Lenovo Yoga Book offers 8500mAh battery
While the rear side will offer an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus support, the front-facing snapper provides a 2MP camera with fixed-focus technology. In addition to 4G LTE, the hybrid convertible tablet will also provide support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. A powerful 8500mAh battery completes the package.
Meanwhile, the real-pen accessory will have the capability to draw on the halo keyboard. Even though the stylus is more or less similar to that of Surface pen, it will have more improved features.
The Android model of Lenovo Yoga Book was priced at EUR 499 loaded with Android Marshmallow. However, the Windows 10 Pro edition was priced at EUR 599. This equates to roughly Rs. 37300 and Rs. 44700 respectively.
As of writing this, we don’t have any information about whether the company will launch both Windows and Android models in India.
