Lenovo announced the availability of the IdeaPad 100S in India at Rs. 14,999. The company stated that the system would be made available with Windows 10 preloaded onto it, a boon at such a modest price.
The Director of Home and Small Businesses with Lenovo India said that the IdeaPad 100S acts as a perfect lightweight laptop that offers great functionality at an affordable price, which is what consumers are looking for when they wish to stay connected on-the-go today.
He also continued to say that the reliable battery life of the system, as well as its attractive design, will make the laptop suitable for both entertainment as well as professional purposes.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 100S was originally unveiled at the IFA 2015 and has now been made available for sale in India with slightly revised specifications. The system weighs just 1kg, which makes if fit for portability as well as work on-the-go and measures 0.69 inches in thickness.
The laptop comes with an 11.6-inch HD display screen and runs on an Atom Z3735F processor that clocks speeds of 1.83GHz. The system houses an Intel HD graphics card, 2GB of DDR3L RAM to support processes and comes along with 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded externally with the help of a micro-SD card. The top flap of the 100S also houses a 0.3MP camera lens for video calls and photographs.

The IdeaPad 100S has two 1W speakers inbuilt into it that support advanced Dolby Digital Playback. The system comes along with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an HDMI port, a micro-SD card slot, 2 USB ports and an audio jack for earphones or microphones.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 100S will be made available for purchase through official sales partner Snapdeal and will be available in the colour ‘Silver’.
