India-based handset manufacturer Lava has launched the A93 budget-friendly smartphone in the country. This is the next iteration of the smartphone in the Lava’s A series lineup. It is priced at INR 7,999 and will be available in Gold and Gray color variants.

The connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0 and G-sensor. It comes with features like Smart Screenshot, Video PIP, Smart Music, and Smart Gestures. The device support H.263/H.264/MPEG4 Video format and support MP3/3GP/WAV/MIDI/AMR-NB audio format.
Lava A93 is an entry level smartphone and will face severe competition from Moto C Plus, InFocus Turbo 5, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A which seems to be the finest contender in entry level market. The handset is quite mediocre in term of hardware configuration, with Quad core chipset and 2 GB RAM under the hood.
