Kingston announced their newest dual-standard USB drive – the DataTraveler microDuo 3C USB drive. The new USB drive promises versatility and comes with compatibility for both USB standards: USB Type-A (3.0, 2.0) and USB 3.1 Type-C.
The USB Type-C ports are a newer introduction that are added to many modern computing devices and smartphones. The reversible connectors allow for making sleeker devices that are capable of faster data transfer speeds.
The new DataTraveler microDuo 3C USB drive allows a user to plug-in the drive to both USB Type-A and Type-C ports allowing seamless use on both older as well as new devices.
“Our drive provides more storage, features fast data transfer speeds and helps make the new technology more accessible to consumers” said Nathan Su- Director for Flash Memory Sales at Kingston (APAC Region).
Kingston offers a 5-year warranty on the new age USB drive and will make it available exclusively through Flipkart all through the month of May. Kingston DataTraveler microDuo 3C will be available in storage options of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB for a price of Rs. 800, Rs. 1,200 and Rs. 2,000 respectively.
