The Chinese smartphone giant introduced the Huawei Wireless Charger during the Mate 20 Pro launch, back in October 2018. Nearly after two months of the Mate 20 Pro’s Indian launch, the company has finally introduced the Wireless Charger for the Indian market.
The all-new Huawei Wireless Charger incorporates the company’s proprietary Supercharge technology, capable of charging the device at 15W. This makes it one of the fastest wireless chargers in the industry.
Furthermore, it makes use of WPC Qi standard authentication and charges smartphones with integrated Qi functionality. It can also charge devices equipped with a Qi-receiving battery case. Notably, one can charge his/her smartphone wirelessly without needing to remove its case, claims the company. However, the case needs to made up of a non-metallic material with a thickness of under 5mm.
The company is also touting multi-layer safety protection with the Huawei Wireless Charger. Following the same, the charger’s soft unibody silicon surface holds the phone at its place, preventing it from accidental drops. Moreover, the built-in chip adjusts the output power automatically according to the ambient temperature and real-time battery percentage, making it safe to charge any device that supports Wireless charging.
Lastly, the company has equipped smart foreign object detection in the charger. This new feature allows it to automatically switch off when it detects keys or metal objects, within a safe temperature to avoid overheating.
As for the price, the Huawei Wireless Charger has been priced at Rs. 3,999 in India and is available for purchase on Amazon.in. Stay tuned for more updates.
