Huawei to launch Honor 9 with dual cameras on October 5th

Huawei is all set to launch the Honor 9 smartphone in India on October 5th. The company has already started sending out media invites for the launch. The Honor 9 was introduced in China back in June and might launch in India with same specifications as the original model. We shall know the pricing and the availability of the device once it goes official.

Honor 9 specifications:

The Huawei Honor 9 sports a 5.15-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by the Huawei Kirin 960 SoC clocked at 2.4GHz Octa-Core processor + i6 co-processor, Mali G71 Octa-core GPU. There is 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage for the base variant, while the top-end model packs 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top.

Talking about the camera, there is a 20-megapixel (Monochrome) + 12-megapixel (RGB) Dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, PDAF, CAF, f/2.2 aperture and can record 4K videos. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats. It also packs a Fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C. A 3200mAh battery with fast charging support is on board for all the battery needs.
