Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has launched the GST Rates Finder App in India. This official Mobile App is here to help citizens of India search for various Goods, Services and their respective GST Rates in detail. This app allows users to search through the entire list or the respective categories for GST taxes and rates. Furthermore, the app is developed by National Informatics Center, India and offered by NIC India Board of Exercise and Customs (CBEC). Most importantly the apps work offline too.
The app is now available on Android platform, will soon be available for iOS platform as well. After downloading the app from Google Play Store, User can easily access the bunch of features available in app layout. The app Home page contains the options like Quick search where users can quickly get access to desired Goods and Services by just entering the text in a search box.
The homepage also contains options like Tax Rate: Goods, Taxes Rates: Services where users can find out the GST rates specifically in Goods and Services sections respectively. For example, if a user enters Diamond in a search box of Tax Rate section, that particular list of description is displayed for buyers reference where the applicable GST rates and tax details are mentioned.
