Taiwanese giant Asus has now launched the Titanium Edition of its popular Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 smartphone. To recall, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 was launched in Blue colour, back in December. Thereafter, the company has now introduced a new colour variant dubbed as “Titanium Edition”.

The variant was first showcased during the launch of standard variant. That being said, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Titanium Edition is now up for sale exclusively on Flipkart, starting today. The price has been kept the same as the Blue variant. The handset is available at Rs 12,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant, whereas the 4GB/64GB and 6/64GB models are priced at Rs. 14,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 Titanium edition: Features

The specifications of the Asus Zenfone Max Poro M2 Titanium Edition are same as the standard edition. The device sports a 6.26-inch IPS display with a Full-HD+ resolution of 1080×2280 pixels. The display bears a 19:9 aspect ratio, thanks to the notch on top. Furthermore, it flaunts 2.5 curved Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and 94 per cent NTSC colour gamut coverage while the brightness maxes out at 450 nits.

Under the hood, the handset gets powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The device is available in 3/32GB, 4/64GB and 6/64GB RAM and storage configurations. Thankfully, the given dedicated slot for microSD card allows for further storage expansion up to 2TB.

In the Optics department, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 gets a dual camera setup at the back. The composition features a 12-megapixel primary Sony IMX486 sensor, having an f/1.8 aperture, and 1.25-micron pixels. There’s also a 5-megapixel secondary camera for depth sensing. The rear cameras can record videos up to 4K resolution with EIS. On the front, we have a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, 1.12-micron pixels, and an LED flashlight.

On the software front, the device runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo and is expected to receive Pie update soon. Even though backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery, it weighs quite light at 175grams.

Lastly, the connectivity options on the Pro M2 include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port (Yes, no USB type-C). The phone also lacks any fast charging capabilities.Zenfone Max Pro M2 Titanium Edition
