ASUS Republic of Gamers announces ultra-fast Strix GeForce GTX 1080 at Rs. 60000

Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the release of Strix GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card. Touted to be the VR-ready graphics card, the Strix GeForce GTX 1080 offers ultra-fast gaming performance in addition to advanced cooling, reliability, and customized styling.

With a clock speed of 1936MHz in OC mode, the ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 is capable of delivering up to 6.5 percent in Hitman. Equipped with DirectCU III, patented wing-blade 0dB fans paired with ASUS FanConnect, the Strix 1080 offers up to 30 percent cooler performance and 3X silent performance.

Asus has designed the fans especially to provide maximum airflow. Moreover, the GPU-controlled fan headers provided the required targeted supplemental cooling.

Asus has bundled the exclusive auto-extreme technology, Super Alloy Power II components, Aura RGB lighting, modular shroud and VR enabled HDMI ports for an immersive gaming experience. Even though VR is the emerging technology with fewer games, the graphic card offers future protection since the VR world is all set to transform the way we interact with devices.

With Asus FanConnect, you will be able to connect two 4-pin GPU-controlled headers to the system fans inside your cabinet. This will provide optional cooling in addition to the fans from CPU and GPU for an optimal thermal performance. Moreover, the Super Alloy Power II components not only enhance efficiency but also drastically reduce power loss even while under full load.

To work with VR games, you need to connect a VR device and display simultaneously through the two VR friendly HDMI ports. Hence, you will be able to enjoy VR games without swapping cables.

Asus has designed Strix GeForce GTX 1080 in such a way to enable you to maximize system performance via the new Gaming Booster function. The module automatically removed redundant processes and resources to provide an improved gaming experience.

ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 will be available in India from May 27 with free one year XSplit Gamecaster premium license bundled with the product package.
