In what seems to be the biggest leak of this year’s iPhone line-up, the next-generation iPhone model has been allegedly spotted on the European Economic Commission (EEC) website. In addition, upcoming iPads and MacBooks have also been spotted.
According to reports, several Apple products have been found listed on the EEC website. These include the A1920, A1921, A1984, A2097, A2099, A2101, A2103, A2104, A2105, and A2106. Its also worth noting that most of the models run iOS 11, however, the A2016 model runs the upcoming iOS 12.
Apple is expected to announce three iPhone models this year. One of them is said to be a direct successor to last year’s iPhone X with similar design aesthetics. However, internals are expected to get a minor upgrade with new processors, beefed up RAM, as well as an improved camera.
The second one out of the lot is expected to be a giant sized iPhone X with a 6.5-inch OLED display. Rumour has it that this particular model will feature triple-rear camera lenses. Besides, it’s also expected to get more RAM, as well as a larger battery.
The last of the three is the 6.1-inch LCD model. This will be positioned as a low-cost model and will have a single lens camera on the rear. It will also lack features such as 3D Touch or wireless charging to keep costs down.
Apart from the new iPhone models, seven new iPad models have also been listed on the EEC website. All seven models are listed as running on iOS 11 at EEC. Key sources indicate that Apple’s 2018 iPad line-up could be offered in two screen sizes – an 11-inch and a 12.9-inch model.
Though it goes without saying that readers should take this information with a pinch if salt as nothing is official at the moment. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear anything new. Until then, keep checking back for more.
