Acer launches world’s thinnest laptop Swift 7 (SF714-51T)

Acer launched the world’s thinnest laptop, the all new Swift (SF714-51T) today. The 8.98mm thin Swift 7 (SF714-51T) is an-always-connected PC that runs on Windows 10. With its ultraportable design, the laptop can be carried anywhere with convenience. The Swift 7 is packed by Intel Core i7 processor, all-day battery life and a personal and a trusted 4G LTE connection.

The new Swift 7 comes with an even slimmer chassis, powerful performance and always-on 4G LTE connectivity for the professionals on the go.

Chris Walker, Vice President of Intel Corp said that the Swift 7 is the perfect PC for those who have things to do and create anywhere, at any time with its built-in 4G LTE in an ultra-thin, stunning design.

Similarly, Han, Vice President, Partner Devices and Solutions, Microsoft Corp said that the new Swift 7 is a great Windows 10 PC for on the go professionals or consumers who crave portability and connectivity.

The Blazing-fast, built-in Intel XMM 4G LTE connectivity in the Swift 7 keeps users productive and always-connected. This is especially useful for professionals who want to eliminate tedious wireless connection problems on the road so they can stay focused on the work they have.

The Swift 7 features eSIM technology and a Nano SIM card slot which will allow download and activation of eSIM profiles. The Swift 7 comes with up to 1 GB of free data valid for one month in 48 countries. This will help the users get started instantly. While travelling around the world additional data plans can be purchased as needed via the Mobile Plans application. Reliable and fast connections to the office or home network can be achieved with the 802.11ac wireless with 2×2 MIMO in the laptop.

The swift 7 is backed by a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor that will provide the user with an amazing performance. It is powered by a battery that can provide up to 10 hours of battery life. Besides the Swift 7, Acer has also announced its refreshed Spin 3 (SP314-51) laptop. The Acer Spin 3 is designed for users seeking out a versatile device for all-day productivity and entertainment. The Spin 3 features a 14-inch display that supports vivid imagery in Full HD with IPS technology, allowing on-screen content to shine through in exceptional detail. It is designed with a durable 360° dual-torque hinge which enables it to function as a laptop, tablet, display and even provides a space-saving tent mode, all in a single device.

The new Spin 3 features a powerful 8th Gen Intel Core processor and impressive storage options. It is equipped with a battery that can provide up to 12 hours of battery life for digital work and play on the move. With the two front-facing speakers powered with Acer TrueHarmony technology, the users will get an impressive audio experience.

The Spin 3 will be available in North America in the month of February with a starting price of US$599. In EMEA, the Spin 3 will be available in the month of January with a starting price of €649.
