Coolpad is expected to launch Mega 3 and Note 3S smartphones on November 30. Touted as a budget smartphone, the Coolpad Mega 3 is rumored to ship with three SIM card slots. However, the Note 3S is tipped to be the successor to Note 3 launched in 2015.
According to Zauba listing, Coolpad has imported the Mega 3 with the model number 3503I and P/N : A10001960. The color variant is listed as White. Nearly 80 units of the Mega 3 handsets were imported at a cost of Rs. 5,875 per unit via Delhi Air Cargo. We infer that the cost will be only for Customs reference and will likely change when the handset finally gets released in India.
Meanwhile, Amazon India also listed the rumored specifications of the Mega 3 with the product name “Coolpad 3503I”. The listing clearly specifies the presence of Triple SIM. The color of the phone is mentioned as Moondust-Grey, while the Zauba listing shows as White.
Coolpad Mega 3 specifications
On the specifications front, the Coolpad Mega 3 will feature a 5.5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6735P processor, Mali-T720 graphics, 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 64GB) loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
While the rear camera will be equipped with an 8MP autofocus sensor with LED Flash, the front-facing snapper will also feature the same 8MP sensor. A 3050mAh battery completes the package. The phone also ships with 4G VoLTE and hence you will be able to make use of Reliance Jio 4G. The handset also offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS connectivity.
Coolpad Mega 3 will offer three 4G SIM slots
The main highlight of Coolpad Mega 3 is the addition of three 4G-enabled SIM slots. However, the phone will run at a speed of only 1.25GHz. The phone will be decorated with CoolUI 8.0, which is similar to that of eUI in Le 2.
Based on the specs, we can easily guess that the Mega 3 will be budget friendly smartphone priced under Rs. 7000. As of writing this, we don’t have any information about the features and specs of Note 3S.
