Temple Run and its sequel, Temple Run 2 are the definition of mobile gaming success with over 1 billion downloads. Imangi Studios has released a new content expansion in its popular endless runner, Temple Run 2 named Frozen Shadows.
“Frozen Shadows” is the latest free update to the franchise yet. The expansion includes characters like Guy Dangerous and Scarlett Fox to run through a brand-spanking-new icy world. Users will also get new winter costumes, artifacts, and a terrifying new demon monkey to run from. Players can also perform new stunts while jumping and sliding.
In a statement, Keith Shephard – Co-founder of Imangi Studios said, “This is the first series if world expansion we have planned for Temple Run 2 over the next year. Frozen Shadows gives Temple Run 2 fans an entirely new terrain to explore and a new twist on the gameplay with the ice luge. It’s a completely new Temple Run game in an update.”

Rather than releasing the third game in the series, the team has revealed its most ambitious add-on, yet. The update has extended the universe to new players and give long-time fans a ton of extra things to play with.
