Nokia’s low range phone Asha now available to buyers in three different ranges, expanding its already existing portfolio in India, with recently launched Nokia Asha 500, 502 and 503 feature-rich phones this Friday. All these three phones are having a dual-SIM support and slot for microSD card.
Nokia Asha 500 will be available in Indian markets during the end of December, and it will cost buyers Rs. 4,499. This device comes with 2.8-inch QVGA display screen with 320×240 pixel resolution. The phone runs on Nokia Asha software platform with Swipe UI. It features a 2 megapixel rear camera and comes with connectivity options such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It also offers buyer FM radio, but the device runs on only 2G network.
Nokia Asha 502 is priced Rupees 5,969 and already has been launched in the market. This phone had its release in India last week. Nokia Asha 503 will be sold in the market during the month of January 2014 and will be priced Rupees 6,799. These prices that have been quoted in the article do not include taxes.
The Nokia Asha 502 and the Asha 503 comes with 3.0-inch QVGA display screen along with 320×240 pixel resolution. Both the phones are running on the Nokia Asha software platform v1.1 with Swipe UI. The display screen of Asha 503 further comes with the curved Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection on its screen. Both these phones sports a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. Like Asha 500, the Asha 502 also offers support for only 2G data connectivity, which means it will not provide high speed internet connectivity. But the third phone in the list Asha 503 offers 3G data connectivity.
These three phones come with preloaded WhatsApps, along with three months of free access to Nokia Music service.
