Samsung is all set to the announce the much-awaited flagship smartphone of 2017; the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23. As it is a highly anticipated device of the year, the phone is subjected to many rumors and leaks in the recent times. Many leaks suggest that the Note 8 would be quite similar to the popular Galaxy S8. So it will be interesting to know that what features of Galaxy S8 will adhere in the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 smartphone.
Starting from the design/display, recently leaked images of Note 8 has confirmed that it would adhere the same design aesthetics of the Galaxy S8. It will be sporting the same resolution display and same bezel-less Infinity display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on front and a back panel. A recent leak has indicated that the Galaxy Note 8 will opt two color variants of Galaxy S8 smartphone i:e Midnight Black and Maple Gold.
Going by the leaked and rumored specifications, the Note 8 will be equipped with top of the line chipset; the Exynos 8895/Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 which are currently powering the Galaxy S8 series handsets. The Note 8 will pack same 64 GB ROM variant just like S8, but with 6GB RAM and with same expandable storage capacity i:e 256GB via microSD. Though the phone will also come in 128GB ROM option too. We also hear rumors about the Emperor edition with a whopping 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

In the camera department, Samsung has opted the same optics module of Galaxy S8 smartphone for the front and the back. However, the Note 8 will pack dual rear camera setup with 12MP optics (ISOCELL) with F/1.7 aperture and 2X optical zoom and 8MP front shooter with f/1.7 aperture. Like the Galaxy S8, the Note 8 will probably have a dedicated button for accessing the Bixby assistant.
Just like the Galaxy S8, the Note 8 will also opt the “Always-on display” features and messaging attributes like SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Mail, and IM. The Note 8 will be packed with the same arrays of sensors which were currently packed in Galaxy S8 i:e Iris scanner, fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate, and SpO2. While the connectivity options will be almost the same as Galaxy S8 like Bluetooth 5.0 and the USB Type-C 3.1.
