The ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia hasn’t launched any phone in India since quite a while. Now, it seems like the company is gearing up for a come-back in the country with its Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone.
Nubia India’s official Twitter handle has confirmed the same with a tweet. The tweet reads “Enough is enough, it’s time for a new species to take over. It’s time for a complete annihilation.”
The company has also tagged @RedMagicIN – a dedicated Twitter handle for the gaming smartphones by the company. The tweet reveals that the launch is in three days while the hashtags and the mention of Red Magic in the teaser confirm the device to be the Nubia Red Magic gaming phone. Thus, it is clear that the phone will be launched in India on December 20. To recall, it was first unveiled in China, back in April aimed explicitly at mobile gamers.

There’s also a possibility of the company launching the new Nubia Red Magic Mars in India. It was announced a month ago after being crowdfunded as the Red Magic 2 in China.
The main highlight of the Nubia Red Magic is its unusual rugged design with gaming-centric accents. The handset also gets an RGB LED strip at the back which makes it stand out from the competition.
The company is also touting the presence of extra layers of graphite, convex-styled back and four cooling ports. This will help it run cooler during an intensive stretch.
Moreover, the phone also gets a dedicated Gaming button which when pressed, activates Gaming mode along with the turbo acceleration mode for a significant performance boost.
