Nissan India has introduced a new Sunshine Orange color variant for its Micra hatchback, coupled with an all-black sporty interior. The new color option applies across the Nissan Micra range, which also includes the Nissan Micra Active. The company believes that Orange is growing in popularity among Indian consumers, who are looking for a stylish hipster-like feel to their car’s exterior. Besides, it also signifies the upcoming festive season in the country. Meanwhile, the all-black interior includes a central console which gets a piano black finish, black door trims, along black seats with shades of blue stitching, give the interiors a more European look and feel. While all Micra Active variants also feature a black instrument panel cluster and finisher, black seat fabric, along with a silver-colour door arm rest.
Apart from the new Orange exterior, Micra is also available in Brick Red, Turquoise Blue, Blade Silver, Onyx Black, Storm White and Night Shade.
Nissan Micra Variant Specifications
Under the hood, the Nissan Micra comes equipped with the company’s proprietary X-Tronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), which essentially offers better fuel efficiency than the manual transmission. The hatchback is available in both diesel and petrol engine options.
The Nissan Micra has become the most exported car from India, which is sold in more than 100 international markets. Nissan has sold more than 6 million units of the hatchback across the globe.
Back in June, Nissan India revised the prices of the Micra CVT automatic hatchback, slashing the prices by Rs. 40,000 than its previous version. This makes the Nissan Micra CVT the most affordable CVT premium hatch in the country, cheaper than the Maruti Baleno and the Honda Jazz in the segment.
