Micromax Canvas Juice 4 with 3000mAh battery goes official, to be launched soon

Micromax Canvas Juice 4

Micromax has introduced its 4th member, Canvas Juice 4 in the battery-focused Canvas Juice series. The smartphone is listed on the company’s official website with no words on the availability and pricing details. Micromax Canvas Juice 4 is the successor to Canvas Juice 3+ and Canvas Juice 3, which were launched last year.

Coming to the specifications and features of Micromax Canvas Juice 4, the smartphone boasts a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core SC7731 processor paired with 1GB of RAM, the handset offers 8GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.

The Canvas Juice 4 sports with a 5MP AF rear camera with LED flash support in addition to a 2MP front-facing camera. Out-of-the-box, the handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

Micromax Canvas Juice 4 comes pre-loaded with 10 regional languages and First Touch menu.

On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM Micromax Canvas Juice 4 comes with 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headset jack. Whereas, sensor option includes proximity sensors, ambient light sensor, magnetometer and accelerometer.

It is surprising how the phone doesn’t support 4G LTE as the company previously had plans for revamping the existing portfolio of smartphones with 4G compatible devices.

A 3000mAh battery fuels the smartphone, which company claims to deliver 385 hours of Standby time and 11 hours of Talktime.

On the contrast, the Canvas Juice 4 may have to face a tough competition from the battery centric smartphones Gionee Marathon and Xiaomi Redmi 3, which includes a massive 4000mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas Juice 4 isn’t official yet; the official website listing does specify that it will be launched soon. As of now, the pricing of the smartphone is still unknown, and we expect it to be priced under Rs. 8,000.
