Huawei has launched its most awaited flagship smartphone, Huawei Honor 5X along with Honor Holly 2 Plus at a launch event held in New Delhi, today. Priced at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 8,499, both the smartphones will be exclusively available to buy via Flipkart and Amazon India.
Equipped with a metallic body with enhanced resistance to damages and a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Huawei Honor 5X is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC and will be available in both 2GB and 3GB RAM variants with 16GB internal storage.

Moving on to the photography department, the Honor 5X features a 13-megapixel rear camera with SmartImage processor and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. Moreover, the device includes a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie addicts.
The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor, which has the capability to deliver improved accuracy. Huawei Honor 5X runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with EMUI 3.1 on top of it.
Capable of expanding the internal storage to up to 128GB via microSD card slot, Honor 5X includes all major connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device comes packed with a 3000mAh non-removable battery.

In addition to Honor 5X, the company has also launched a new budget-friendly smartphone, Honor Holly 2 Plus with a price tag of Rs. 8,499.
Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus boasts a 5-inch IPS HD display and is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor paired with 2GB od RAM and Mali 720 GPU. The device offers 16Gb of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card.
The smartphones sports a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It come with all major connectivity options including 4G LTE support, standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.
