Alcatel has announced the launch of its new Smartphone range titled the ‘POP STAR.’ It is an extension of the Pop Series and will help to boost the sales of the POP line.
The POP STAR Smartphone will be available exclusively on Gadgets 360 at a price of Rs. 6,999; Alcatel Pop Star will be available in Metal Gold and Metal Silver colors.
The POP STAR Smartphone boasts a 5 inch HD IPS display and has a 160-degree wide viewing angle. The 5.0 inch HD screen with full lamination provides full clarity even under sunlight for an effortless reading of the display.
The POP STAR smartphone is a refurbished version of the Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star smartphone launched at IFA 2015 last year and is only available in a 4G variant.
The Smartphone is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor 64 bit and 1GHz processor. The device has 1GB RAM along with 8 GB internal memory which can be augmented to 64 GB with a microSD card.
The device boasts an 8 MP primary camera with an LED Flash and a secondary 5 MP camera for selfies and video chat. The Smartphone is powered by a 2000 mAh removable battery. The Smartphone is based on the Android OS platform. Check official website here for all the specs and features.

The device will be locking horns with other Smartphone in this segment like the new Asus Zenfone GO, Micromax Canvas Spark series, the popular Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime and others.
