Videocon Z55 Krypton budget 4G Smartphone launched in India: Specs, Fetauers and Price

Videocon Telecom, formerly Videocon Mobile Phones has launched its first budget-friendly 4G-enabled smartphone Videocon Z55 Krypton in the market. Priced at Rs. 7,999, the smartphone comes in two different color options i.e. Black/Gold and White/Silver.

Commenting on the launch, CEO at Videocon Mobile Phones – Mr. Jerold Pereira said that the newly launched Z55 Krypton is a cost-effective smart device for those who want to upgrade to a faster smartphone with 4G connectivity, extended memory and a good camera.

Equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Dragontrail X Anti-Scratch Glass on the top, the Videocon Z55 Krypton is powered by a 1.3GHz MT6735 Quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

The handset comes with 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. Out-of-the-box, the Z55 Krypton runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13MP AF rear camera with LED flash support and a 5MP FF front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

Whereas, the connectivity options include Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headset jack. A 2,200 mAh lithium-polymer battery powers the smartphone.
