Xiaomi Redmi 4 is expected to unveil on November 4. A teaser released by the company reveals the date of Redmi 4 release in the Chinese language. With a traditional Mi logo, the teaser shows the edge of the handset with silver on the top and black on the rear side.
According to sources, the Redmi 4 touted to be a successor to Redmi 3 will be released on November 4. Interestingly, the handset got certified by TENAA in China by the end of October.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 Specifications
On the specifications front, the Redmi 4 will feature a 5-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506 graphics, 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. You will be able to extend the storage up to 128GB. The processor will have the capability to run at a clock speed of 1.8GHz.
The rear camera will be equipped with a 13MP sensor, while the front-facing snapper is accompanied by a 5MP sensor. If you compare the camera specs with that of Redmi 3, you will be able to see that there are no major changes.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be equipped with 4000mAh battery
The main attraction of Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be the integration of a 4000mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor on the rear side below the rear camera. Nowadays, Xiaomi is shipping new phones with a 4000mAh battery and hence it’s not big a surprise.
With a thickness of 8.9mm and 160 grams weight, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be available in Gold and Silver color variants. You can expect Redmi 4 to be priced at $192, which is equivalent to Rs. 12000.
Xiaomi had priced Redmi 3s Prime at Rs. 9999. We expect Xiaomi to fix the price around Rs. 10999 when the phone will be released in 2017. Moreover, Xiaomi will most likely rebrand the phone as Redmi 4 and Redmi 4s Prime when it is released in India. The chances for releasing the new Redmi smartphone in India this year are very less since only 60 days left for the year to end.
