Xiaomi on Tuesday further expanded its accessory portfolio with the launch of new Mi Micro USB braided cable in India. The all-new USB cable comes for just Rs. 249 and is already up for sale on Xiaomi’s official website, Mi.com in the country.

The new Mi Micro USB cable comes in red and black colour options with a braided finish on top. The braided design makes it tangle-free and resistant against rough usage. Furthermore, it supports 2A fast charging and high data transfer rates of up to 480Mbps.
The cable can bear up to 2A of current, ensuring standard fast charging speeds on your devices, be it from power bank or the charging brick. As expected, the length of cable is 100cms. Above all, the company is boasting multi-layer protections and extra robust joints to prevent breakage caused by normal wear and tear.

Do note that the cable has a microUSB 2.0 interface and hence can’t be used to charge devices with type-C ports. That being said, the company does sell a type-C braided cable in its homeland China for around $6. If you wish you can import it to India via Gearbest.
