WhatsApp has rolled out the new update (beta version 2.17.234) of the app to the Windows phone users. This latest update allows users bare the ability to add a check mark to their profile user name. Further, the app is expected to launch with some business oriented feature which allows businesses and consumers to interact with each other.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is expected to release a business version of their app for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. Businesses accounts will be verified and sport a check mark which signifies the authenticity of the user’s profile. The authentic business domain is directly verified by the WhatsApp, where the app provides a green check Emoji icon in the push name which further indicates that this is an official profile. While in the case of unverified business, WhatsApp continuously indicates the users about the current official status of the user’s/business profile.
Furthermore, According to WABetainfo, WhatsApp may be expected to add another feature known as “Structured Messages” which allows proper and secure transaction of the contents like text, images, video via app platform. This worked on the translated messages scenario where users easily communicate with the businesses.
WhatsApp will automatically download the structured messages pack in a background that contains information about the language of the user every 31 days to update translations. So, if WhatsApp fails to download a messages pack due to connectivity issues, it will retry to download it after 5 minutes.
