UberEats has now officially launched in Delhi-NCR region after going official in Mumbai back in May. The service will start in Gurugram first and will gradually roll out to complete Delhi and NCR. Uber has partnered with over 300 restaurants and is claiming to offer local restaurants a reliable delivery option. The reason behind Uber choosing Gurugram as their first choice is the fact that it is a high-density location with office and residential complexes.
Uber states that restaurants have set the pricing according to their Menu and delivery charges are just Rs 15 inclusive of all taxes. However, on the bright side, there is no minimum order and said that it would expand to six the other main cities in India before the year end. UberEats is a direct competitor to Swiggy and Zomato.
