The Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Apple iPhone 6S Plus are two of these phones that are well recognized. Released last year in September alongside with Apple iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus is a larger sized phone with specifications that are quite similar to the former except for the size of their screens and battery. The iPhone 6S Plus is available in the colors of Gold, Silver, Space Grey and Rose Gold.

You can pick between internal storage options of 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB, which would cost you a price of $969, $1,030 and $1,121 respectively. The phones can be purchased from either a physical store or an online one, although you may be offered a buy-back scheme online.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is available to buy for $670 and is available in two internal storage options: 32GB and 64GB. The price mentioned above is for the 32GB model. The phone is available for purchase in the colors of Black, White, Silver, and Gold.

The Apple iPhone 6S Plus is larger than the Samsung Galaxy S7, has a 5.5-inch touchscreen and measures 158.2 mm in length, 77.9 mm in breadth and 7.3 mm in thickness. The phone is about 40 grams heavier than the Galaxy S7 and weighs 192 grams.

Apple iPhone 6S Plus

The iPhone 6S Plus is powered by the same Apple A9 chip as the iPhone 6S, with a dual-core Twister processor which clocks at a speed of 1.8GHz supported by a PowerVR GT7600 six-core graphics GPU kit and a 2GB RAM. The Apple iPhone 6S Plus has the same camera as the Galaxy S7: 12MP at the rear and 5MP on the front. The battery of the iPhone 6S Plus is also as powerful as the Samsung Galaxy S7 at 2,750mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is 142.4 mm in length, 69.6 mm in breadth and 7.9 mm in thickness; and weighs 152 grams which is much lighter than the iPhone 6S Plus.

The phone has a 5.1-inch touchscreen and is available with an Exynos 8890 chip and a Mali -T880 MP12 GPU in US and European markets and with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip and powered by an Adreno 530 GPU in Asian markets. The phone houses a 4GB RAM, which is twice as much as the iPhone 6S Plus and comes along with a 3,000mAh battery. The rear camera is 12MP and the front 5MP, with the same 4K recording capabilities as the iPhone 6S Plus.

While the Apple iPhone 6S Plus ships with an older version (iOS 9) preloaded onto it, it is possible to upgrade to the latest (iOS 9.3) for free. The Samsung Galaxy S7, on the other hand, is available with Android’s latest Marshmallow 6.0 preloaded onto it.
