Nissan India has launched 2017 GT-R in Katsura Orange, Vibrant Red, Pearl Black, Pearl White, Racing Blue, Gun Metallic, and Ultimate Silver color variants at a showroom cost of Rs. 1.99 crore. Touted as a flagship sportscar, the premium vehicle ships with a 565 bhp 3.8-litre V6 24-valve twin-turbocharged engine. According to company sources, the engine will be sufficient for achieving 637Nm of torque.
During the launch event, Nissan disclosed that the powertrain in 2017 GT-R is coupled to a six-speed transmission that features dual-clutch mechanism. Moreover, the GT-R also features paddle shifters, which are located behind the wheel.
Nissan GT-R features 11 integrated control switches
Showcased at the New York International Auto Show held in March 2016, the GT-R sportscar includes integrated controls with a total of 11 switches. Talking about the entertainment segment, the car offers an 8-inch touch display with command control embedded in the center console.
Nissan GT-R offers premium features
Commenting on the launch of 2017 GT-R, Guillaume Sicard, President, Nissan India revealed that the new sports car is very special for the company since it features premium stuff which is available only in foreign cars. Moreover, the launch displays the commitment of the company to customers based in India by launching a dynamic product.
Meanwhile, Hiroshi Tamura, Nissan Motor Corporation’s Chief Product Specialist for the GT-R said that the company has added refreshed features to enable customers to feel driving pleasure. Since India is a new market for the GT-R variant, the company has added features to ensure maximum comfort.
You will be able to buy the European-spec Premium Edition of the GT-R in India at a cost of Rs. 1.99 crore, which is the showroom cost in New Delhi. The cost will vary depending upon each state. As mentioned in the beginning, the GT-R is available in a wide range of colors.
