Indian smartphone firm Micromax Informatics has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the addition of Canvas 5 Lite. Priced at Rs. 6,499, the smartphone comes with a stylish leather back and an all metal body which gives it a premium look. The Canvas 5 Lite is available for purchase on Snapdeal.

Micromax Canvas 5 Lite Specifications
The smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1 GHz MediaTek Quad Core processor. It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage capacity. There is no information about the MicroSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Coming on the camera, it sports a rear camera of 8MP with Autofocus, while secondary camera is 5MP to fulfill the selfie requirements. Micromax Canvas 5 Lite is a 4G smartphone with a battery capacity of 2000mAh. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi.
The Canvas 5 Lite is a good choice for people looking for a smartphone in the budget range. Micromax is continuously expanding its Canvas range with the introduction of more phones. A while back, the Indian company launched Canvas Tab P681 at a price tag of Rs. 7,499. It sports an 8-inch display, 1.3GHz MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 32GB), and is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
