As per the table, you can see that Mi Max 2 is a significant upgrade compared to its predecessor. Most of the users may think that Max 2 is powered by a downgrade chipset as the specifications, but in reality, the Snapdragon 625 is based on 14nm FinFet technology and clocked at 2.0 GHz which results in superior performance and power saving capabilities as compared to Snapdragon 650. This time the RAM also has been bumped up to 4GB as compared to 3GB RAM in the previous gen.
Another significant improvement in Mi Max 2 is the mammoth 5300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 which claims to provide two full days back up under heavy usage. Further, the Mi Max 2 is enriched by dual stereo speakers to cater the media junkies, as the previous version has the single firing speaker. Talking about the camera, it comes with the Sony IMX386 12MP rear sensor with F/2.2 which seems to be superior contender compared to last generation device.
Xiaomi is trying to cater the media junkies with its Mi Max 2 handset and its looks like Mi Max 2 is already a clear winner to Xiaomi. Stay tuned for our complete review of the device soon.
