The Lava International wing, Xolo is up with a new smartphone, the Xolo Q700i. Successor to Xolo Q700, Xolo’s brand new smartphone is pretty moderately priced at Rs. 11, 999, considering its jam-packed features and specifications.
The new 10.2mm thick and 151.3grams heavy Xolo Q700i shows-off a 4.3-inch IPS OGS qHD display screen with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. 1GHz quad-core processor is its driving force, along with 1GB of RAM. It carries an inbuilt storage capacity of 4GB, expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card slot. Besides, this dual-SIM device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
One of the most noticeable updates of Xolo Q700i from its predecessor has been its camera. Unlike the Xolo700’s 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel front facing camera, Xolo’s new smartphone features an impressive 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and comes with Auto Focus and LED flash. It provides for 720pixels HD video recording. Along with these comes a 2-megapixel front facing camera for video chat.
This time, Xolo has equipped its Q700i with a strong 2, 400mAh Li Polymer battery. The device supports most of the major connectivity options including USB OTG (on the go), USB 2.0, 3G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and more. The device is currently available in White color.
There is no doubt about the popularity of Xolo among its target consumers. However, if the consumers decide to take a look around for other similar-ranged smartphones in the market besides Xolo Q700i, they will definitely find better options (especially smartphones with better display) to choose from, like the Zen Ultrafone 701 HD, which would actually cost them less than the Xolo’s new device.
So take note of the Android devices available in the market within the Rs. 12, 000 price-ranges, and only then decide to shell out the bucks.
