iBall Andi F2F 5.5U with 5.5-inch display, 8MP camera available for Rs. 6999

iBall has just released a brand new android smartphone in the country. Named as the iBall Andi F2F 5.5U, the company focusses mainly in the camera department. The rear camera sports a Sony Exmor R lens and iBall Audi boasts excellent low light imaging capability. The handset comes with a sophisticating curved finishing in a sleek body. The company has priced the latest handset just under the Rs. 10,000 mark at Rs. 6,999.

The Andi F2F 5.5U features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD with Full Laminated display panel. The screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD). The display also ropes in Mira Vision technology. iBall hasn’t specified the presence of any display protective glass.

An undisclosed brand of 64-bit quad-core processor sits inside the device. The processor has four ARM cortex A53 cores clocked at 1 GHz each. A dual core ARM Mali – T720 MP2 GPU ramps up the graphics performance. The phone runs the little older Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

iBall Andi F2F 5.5U features 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM with 8 GB of inbuilt storage capacity. Out of the 8 GB internal memory, only 4.5 GB is accessible by the users and the rest 3.5 GB is pre-occupied by the Operating System and pre-installed applications. A microSD card of up to 32 GB memory capacity can be inserted into the smartphone to cater added storage requirement.

The camera department of the Andi F2F 5.5U is the most advertised one. The phone has an 8 MP rear autofocus camera as the primary shooter. The Exmor camera has 5 lens pieces and features an aperture size of f/2.2. A back of the phone boasts a dual LED flash. The selfie camera of the phone is a 5 MP unit with 720p HD video recording capability.

The phone comes with usual connectivity options like Bluetooth version 4.0, 802.11n WiFi and microUSB 2.0. The Andi F2F 5.5U supports internet sharing through USB tethering, Bluetooth tethering, and WiFi tethering. You can also connect a pen drive to the handset using USB OTG connection.

The 4G LTE is supported through both the SIM slots in the dual SIM smartphone. The Andi F2F 5.5U supports Cat5 LTE with a maximum download speed of 150 Mb/s and upload speed of 50 Mb/s. The mobile comes with a GPS chip with built-in AGPS. The smartphone supports FM Radio. The mobile will soon be available for purchase from both online and offline retailers.
