Chinese brand Coolpad has launched their next mid-range smartphone Cool Play 6 in an event held in Dubai today. The main USP of the smartphone is its premium metal unibody build unibody and 13MP rear dual camera setup. The device comes in Gold and Black colors and is priced at Rs. 14,999 in India. It is Amazon exclusive and will be available from 4th September 2017.
The Coolpad Cool Play 6 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display which offers 85% of color gamut and Eye protection mode. It is powered by 1.95GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB RAM with 64GB RAM which is further expandable via microSD card. The Cool Play 6 runs on Android 7.1.1. There is 4000mAh Li-ion battery which claims to provides 252 hours of standby time and up to 6 hours of back up on extreme gaming.
The Coolpad Cool Play 6 rocks a fingerprint sensor which is located on the rear side right below the dual camera setup. On the camera front, Cool play 6 is featured with a dual 13MP rear camera setup ( RGB and Monochrome) with dual LED flash and F/2.0 aperture. The camera is also packed with slow video, long exposure, mono photo, and more. Whereas on the front there is an 8 Megapixel camera. The phone is also packed with a stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience.
The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b,g,n, Dual SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, GPS, OTG, and Bluetooth 4.1. The device measures at 5.98 in x 2.96 in x 0.33 in and weighs around 175g. On the sensors front, the phone has G sensor, Proximity, Compass, and Fingerprint authentication sensor.
