Following the launch of the limited Star Wars edition of the OnePlus 5T, the company is now set to launch the Lava Red variant of the handset.
The Chinese manufacturer gave us a teaser about launch of the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition on its official Twitter account. The tweet reads, “Just 1 day to go for the announcement! Can you guess what we’re up to.” The Tweet also shows an image of molten Lava red colour along with number 1, which suggests that the handset could launch in a day’s time, most likely tomorrow, i.e. January 11.
Besides the Lava Red shade, the handset will retain the same set of specs which include a 6-inch optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, it’ll get powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 processor. However, the company will only offer the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant of the Lava Red edition. Other specs on the remain the same such as the same 20MP+16MP dual-lens camera setup. For the full specifications and performance, make sure you checkout our full review here.
The OnePlus 5T Lava Red should carry the same price tag as the original 8GB variant of the OnePlus 5T, which was priced at Rs. 37,999. Also, given the fact that the original OnePlus 5T was only available on Amazon, we expect the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition to be an Amazon exclusive as well. It will also be available on the official OnePlus online store.
