Asus is preparing for the launch of the new ZenFone 2 smartphone in India. As informed a week ago, Zenfone 2 launch will happen in India in the last week of April. Nonetheless, as indicated by the most recent statement by the company, Zenfone 2 will be introduced in three different variants for the Indian market. Additionally, Asus also promises to deliver best in class HDR support and fast charging technology with Zenfone 2

“ASUS Zenfone 2 will be introduced in three variants in India.  The devices will feature world’s best Back Light (HDR) mode and fast charging technology—60% capacity in only 39 minutes,” company says.

With the launch of Zenfone 2, Asus will likewise try to attract maximum number of customers with budget, mid-range or high-end requirements in mind, similar to what Honor did for its customers with Honor 4X and Honor 6 Plus in India.

Out of the three variants, Asus ZenFone 2 ZE500CL will sport a 5-inch 720p display, 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 mobile SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and 2,500 mAh battery.

Another variant – ZenFone 2 ZE550ML will deliver a 5.5-inch 720p display, 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 mobile SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP camera with dual-LED flash, 5MP front camera, and 3,000 mAh battery.

Lastly, ZenFone 2 ZE551ML will offer a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a more capable 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 SoC, 4GB RAM and NFC.
