Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note8 at unpacked event on August 23rd in Newyork. The company is all to launch it in the Indian market on September 12th. The Galaxy Note8 is a flagship smartphone from Samsung since the Galaxy S8 series and is also the most ambitious Note smartphone since the Note7 failure. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 release date is inching closer, and the price of it is expected to be around Rs. 74,990 and will be an Amazon.in Exclusive.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with Galaxy S8/S8+‘ USP Infinity screen with edge-to-edge bezel-less display and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The back and front of the smartphone are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The fingerprint scanner lies adjacent to the dual camera module. The home button is a pressure-sensitive and works on the software-based algorithm.
The Note 8 sports a 6.3 inches WQHD+ Super AMOLED panel and its powered by the Exynos 8895 64 bit SoC. Notably, only the Exynos chipset version will be available for the Indian audience, though there is Snapdragon 835 model for the USA and other markets. The smartphone also comes with an iris scanner and facial recognition for biometric security.
As per optics, the Galaxy Note 8 is equipped with a dual camera set up on the back consists of two 12-megapixel sensors (wide-angle+telephoto). The primary 12MP sensor comes with OIS and F/1.7 aperture. While the secondary 12MP optics is packed with F/2.4 aperture, 2X optical zoom, and OIS. The camera system also adheres a Live Focus feature for portrait shots in real time unlike the iPhone 7 Plus Portrait Mode.
Moreover, on the front, there is an 8MP optics which comes with a F/1.7 aperture for detailed and sharp selfies. The Note 8 is fuelled by 3,300mAh battery which comes with Fast and wireless charging capabilities out of the box.
Price and Availability
Globally the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 goes on sale from September 1 at a hefty price tag of $930 (Rs. 59,560 approx). Meanwhile, in the Indian market, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 price is expected to be around Rs 74,990, however, this is not official information, so we will have to wait for the company to unveil it.
