Ahead of its launch next month, Reliance Jio has created a stir in the market. Almost all telecom operators like Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, Idea have announced a price cut and offers to retain the present customer base and lure new customers. Airtel is in competition and is trying to woo customers with new 4G offers on Samsung Galaxy J series. One of India’s largest telecom service providers today announced that customers who buy Samsung Galaxy J series mobile device will get 10 GB of Airtel 4G data at the price of 1GB 4G.
This offer is for all the Airtel users, whether new or existing. As mentioned earlier, customers will get 10GB internet data at the price of 1GB on the purchase of select Samsung Galaxy J series. Yes, the offer is limited to select Galaxy J series devices. Users can get 10GB data by spending just Rs. 250. To avail the offer, customers need to go to the Airtel website www.offers.airtel.in from their purchased J series smartphones using data pack, Wi-Fi won’t do. Once you perform all the required steps, you’ll get 10GB data. In case you feel this not feasible, you can visit Airtel retail outlet and activate the offer.
Talking newly launched offer, Ajai Puri, Director of Market Operations, Bharti Airtel, made a statement that they are extending association with Samsung’s J series smartphones. Puri further stated, “We believe this partnership will help customers enjoy best-in-class smartphone experience on Airtel’s 4G network.”
In the market where 4G is not available, Airtel will extend the same 10GB data but on 3G. At 1GB 3G price of Rs. 250, customers will get 1GB 3G data all-time and 9 GB night 3G data.
Bharti Airtel along with Idea is facing slow revenue growth for quite a while. To maintain a stronghold in the market, the telecommunication operator introduced plans for unlimited voice calling. Around a week back, the company came up with myHome Rewards program under which broadband users of Airtel were given 5GB of extra data benefit for every other Airtel connection, postpaid mobile or digital TV (DTH).
These plans start at as low as Rs. 1,199. Meanwhile, it is aggressively working on expanding its 4G base in the Indian market. The telecom service operator rolled out 4G services in West Bengal.
