Xiaomi Redmi 6 and 6A announced in India

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A in India. Both the smartphones sport a large 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display with 80.5% screen-to-body ratio and is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 12nm Quad-Core SoC.

In case of Redmi 6, there are two memory configurations and it also comes with a dual rear camera setup, a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for AI portrait shots. It has a 5-megapixel front camera with face unlock and AI portrait as well as AI beautify features.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 comes in Grey, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold colors and is priced at INR 7,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 64GB storage version costs INR 9,499. The phone will go on sale exclusively from Flipkart as well as Mi.com starting from September 10th.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6A comes in Grey, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold colors and is priced at INR 5,999 for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and the 32GB storage version costs INR 6,999.The phone will be available exclusively from Amazon.in and Mi.com starting from September 19th.
