The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, i.e. the Xiaomi Mi 9 has been in leaks and rumours from last few days for its triple rear cameras and Snapdragon 855. Now, the device has gone through yet another leak which reveals its detailed specifications alongside the pricing information.
Xiaomi has scheduled the launch of its Mi Mix 3 5G edition within the first quarter of this year. Following which, the Xiaomi Mi 9 will be the company’s second smartphone to be powered by the latest gen chipset. Let’s talk about the handset in detail.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Specifications (Leaked)
As per the Chinese tipster, the Xiaomi Mi 9 might come with a water-drop notch at the front, followed by a bottom chin and triple cameras at the rear. You can see the concept-based incarnation of its design in the render created by the famous tipster and designer Benjamin Geskin.
Moving on, the device will reportedly arrive with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ 1080p AMOLED display in a 19:9 aspect ratio. As mentioned, it’ll be powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage for the base variant. We also expect higher-end versions including 8/128GB and 8/256GB options.
The tipster stresses the fact that the phone won’t support 5G connectivity as it’ll be using an older X24 LTE modem instead of the X50 modem that offers 5G connectivity.
Running on Android Pie-based MIUI 10, the smartphone will be backed by a 3,500mAh battery. It’ll also incorporate the support for 32W fast charging.
Following the previous reports, the leak mentions that the Mi 9 will get triple rear cameras. The setup will comprise of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as the primary sensor. There will also be a 12-megapixel secondary sensor and a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) camera. For selfies, the smartphone will rely on its 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor.
Lastly, the phone will measure 155 x 75 x 7.6mm and is also expected to feature an In-display fingerprint scanner.

In addition to the specs, we also have the pricing information about the phone. As per the leak, Mi 9 will arrive sometime in March in China.
