Videocon Aryabot IoT based satellite AC launched, price starts at Rs. 34000

Videocon launched eight new models of the World’s first Satellite AC named Aryabot in a stylish curve indoor unit starting at Rs. 34,000. Fully compliant with BEE with a rating from 3 to 5 stars, Aryabot is available in both 1 and 1.5 tons respectively.

Manufactured using intelligent technology with advanced features IoT (Internet of Things) features, Videocon aims at capturing 15 percent of the AC market share in India by the end of Q1 2016.

Unlike other standard AC, Videocon Aryabot offers a facility to measure usage patterns and preferences with support for voice recognition, power consumption checker, auto-trouble shooting and automatic call logging to the nearest service centre. Moreover, Videocon Aryabot enables users to sync with smartwatches such as Apple Watch and Android Wear.

According to Videocon, Aryabot is designed and manufactured based on the feedback from customers integrated with path breaking technology and stands a class apart from any other AC available in the market.

Videocon Aryabot can be paired with a smartphones and smartwatch in addition to GPS access through connectivity to multiple satellites. It responds to switch itself off as soon as users leave the house using GPS connectivity.

Videocon Aryabot has a dedicated USB slot for a webcam connectivity. Additionally, electricity consumption limits can be configured in advance, and users can easily keep an eye on daily, weekly and monthly energy consumptions and expenditures.

Videocon, in a statement, disclosed that the company is predicting sales of over 6,00,000 units by the end of 2016 and plan to increase market share in the AC segment to 15% from the current 10%. Videocon is hoping Aryabot to be the future of technology.

Videocon Aryabot supports voice commands and enables users to set desired temperature levels for each hour of the night using the sleep graph mode.

It also detects problem areas and suggest remedial actions including an ability to contact the service center without any manual intervention. Users can control the features by downloading the app on Android/iOS smartphones/smartwatches.

Priced at Rs. 34,000 (1 ton) and Rs. 39,000 (1.5 ton), Videocon Aryabot comes with a 5-year warranty.
