Titan has announced the launch of Juxt Pro, its second smartwatch in India. It is the first fully touch-enabled smartwatch by the company. The smartwatch follows the principles of the Juxt but has now developed into a full-fledged smartwatch. It sports a 1.3-inch full circular display with a 360 x 360 pixels resolution. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which is supposed to make it scratch resistant. The first one in the line featured regular watch hands embedded with OLED display for notifications.
Titan Juxt Pro smartwatch Specs: 4GB storage, 450mAh battery
Titan Juxt Pro smartwatch offers an option to customize watch face. The device is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It also comes with a 450mAh Li-Pro battery that is rechargeable. Titan claims that it should last around 36 hours with normal use. The user can conserve battery by selecting the ‘always on’ mode for the screen from the settings menu to use a dark watch face with least graphics. The watch goes back to a full-color dial with a simple flick of the wrist.
The Titan Juxt Pro, just like most other smartwatches out there also comes with its set of fitness options. It has a tracker for step count, distance covered and burnt calories. The app that records the data is also capable of making graphs and showing weekly data. The device is said to be water-resistant up to 3 ATM or 30m.
Not much unlike its predecessor, the Titan Juxt Pro smartwatch also displays incoming text notifications including the ones from IM apps like WhatsApp. These notifications are displayed here for three seconds and subsequently appear as a red dot on the top center of the Watch display.
The device also comes with a safety app which is similar to a panic button. This safety app can be easily accessed by holding down button on the fourth hour. The Titan Juxt Pro connects with any Android or iOS device through the Juxt Pro app.
Titan had launched Juxt at a price of Rs. 15,995, but the touchscreen smartwatch, Juxt Pro is priced at Rs. 22,995. It is available in Matte Black and Silver Grey at World of Titan and other recognized stores across the country. Flipkart is its online sales partner.
Compared to the likes of Pebble, Titan doesn’t have a wide range. But, what it does have is a certain air attached to its brand. This is something that they’re looking to capitalize on.
