The Hong Kong-based smartphone maker TECNO has now unveiled a yet another budget smartphone in India. Dubbed as TECNO Spark Power, the phone offers an AMOLED display, triple rear cameras and a massive 6,000mAh battery for a price of just Rs. 8,499. Let’s have a detailed look at its specifications and features.

TECNO Spark Power: Specs, Features

The TECNO Spark Power comes with a 6.35-inch AMOLED display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1548 pixels and 2.5D curved glass on top.

Under the hood, the phone gets powered by 12-nm based octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor (MT6762), coupled with6 50MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded further up to 256GB with microSD card.

For photography, the phone gets a triple camera setup at the rear. This includes a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel macro lens with quad-LED flash. For selfies, there’s a 13-megapixel front camera housed by the water-drop notch.

Furthermore, the Tecno Spark Power gets a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and runs Android 9 Pie with HiOS 5.5 on top. All of this is powered by a 6,000mAh battery. However, there’s no fast charging support onboard.

Connectivity features comprise triple slots (dual nano sims and a dedicated microSD), 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and A-GPS. The phone measures 75.98 x 158.5 x 9.17 mm and weighs 198.2 grams.

Pricing & Availability

The TECNO Spark Power is priced at Rs. 8,499 in India for the lone model with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. The device will be available in Dawn Blue and Alpenglow Gold colours and will go on sale via Flipkart starting from December 1.

Additionally, the company is also offering a host of launch offers with the device. This includes options for no-cost EMI and an extra 10 per cent discount on the purchase for HDFC debit card users.
