Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and Z5 Premium are expected to launch in India on October 21

Sony is all set to launch the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium in India on October 21. The company has started rolling out Media invites for the event in New Delhi. Sony initially unveiled the brand new range of flagship Xperia Z5 smartphones at IFA 2015 event in Berlin.

The Sony Xperia Z5 sports a 5.2″ triluminos display with 1080 x 1920 pixels full HD resolution and 428 PPI pixel density. The device is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 (Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 + Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57) and Adreno 430 GPU.

The Xperia Z5 offers 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM with up to 200GB of storage expandability using microSD. Sony’s bundled a 23 MP rear camera as well as a 5.1 MP front-facing camera. It features a non-removable Li-Ion 2900 mAh battery.

The Xperia Z5 Compact runs on a 4.6″ scratch-resistant triluminos display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and 323 PPI pixel density. The Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 (Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 + Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57), Adreno 430 and 2GB RAM powers the Xperia Z5 Compact.

Similar to Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact also features a 32GB ROM alongside storage expandability up to 200GB via microSD support. The Z5 Compact comes equipped with a 23 MP rear camera and 5.1 MP front-facing camera. It comes bundled with a non-removable Li-Ion 2700 mAh battery.

The high-end Xperia Z5 Premium runs on a 5.5″ IPS LCD with whooping 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and 806 PPI pixel density. The Xperia Z5 Premium is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 (Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 + Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57) CPU, Adreno 430 and 3GB RAM.

The Xperia Z5 Premium is backed by a 32 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 200GB via a microSD card. The smartphone has a 23 MP phase detection autofocus rear camera LED flash as well as 5.1 MP front-facing camera.

All three flagship Xperia smartphones run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box and ensures Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade to receive very soon.
