The Samsung Z2 hasn’t been officially launched yet, but it made a small appearance at the Galaxy Note 7 launch event in South Africa. The firmware for the device is already available online. It is expected that the Samsung Z2 will be announced any day now. However, there is out enough there to ascertain what the phone will offer, and now we have access to an official video that showcases all of Samsung Z2′s main features and some of its specs. The Samsung Z2 is the first Tizen handset to come with 4G LTE support, and just like all of Samsung’s recent budget handsets, it is said to come with the Ultra Data Saving Mode feature to help users cut down on data costs. The Indian users will also have access to My Money Transfer app to allow them to transfer money to others in a couple of steps.

The released video reveals that Samsung has also improved on a taken-for-granted feature– the flashlight. There will be an option on the phone that will let users adjust the flashlight’s brightness. This will help in saving a bit of the 1,500 mAh battery.
The video doesn’t give out all of the phone’s specs, but it does say that it will be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and also feature a 5MP rear camera. The smartphone will also sport a 3.97-inch WVGA display, 1GB RAM, a VGA front camera and 8GB of internal storage.
The LTE feature is a first for a Tizen smartphone. Tizen 2.4 provides more consistent and organized of various UI components, such as navigation, presentation views, and assist views. This allows developers to design their apps more conveniently and lets users to better understand the user interface.
Controls, such as floating action button and light mode view, have been introduced in Tizen 2.4 to help provide users with apps that are convenient to use. The Tizen may not be the best UI around the block, but it certainly is the best in its price range.
The arrival of Samsung Z2 is highly anticipated, especially in a market like India. The previous devices in this lineup have done fairly well.
