Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone X

When it comes to Smartphones nowadays, there are so many fantastic contenders on the market, however, there are clear differences (and some similarities) between them. Some great examples of this are the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the newly released iPhone 8 and iPhone X. All of these Smartphones are revolutionary in their technology and capabilities, however, they do come with a high price tag. If you’re looking to invest in a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, iPhone 8 or X, we highly recommend heading to a site such as GreenBuyback and using their incredibly easy system to send in old tech devices and receive money quickly for them. While we believe investing in a great Smartphone is a game-changer, there is no reason to have unused old tech sitting in your drawer when you can easily make some cash on it to spend on a new phone.

So, what’s the difference between these Smartphones which people have been eagerly anticipating? For the first time in a Samsung flagship phone, there are two cameras on the back of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8; the portrait mode is superior, as is the post-production editing capabilities within the phone. You also see a return of the S Pen stylus in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and features a larger 6.3-inch ‘Infinity Display’ than previous phones. However, this infinity display does not increase the size of the phone too much – that being said, this is Samsung’s largest phone – and while it is definitely their best phone, it may be too large for some people. However, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has 6GB of RAM, which makes it ultra-fast and efficient. The one item which Samsung needs to adjust on this new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the fingerprint sensor, which is off-centered on the back of the phone, a flaw in design that they hopefully update on the next one.

Apple has been hinting at the revolutionary changes in the iPhone 8 and X recently, and the changes, while at a high price, as significant. The iPhone X (Roman numeral 10) is the first of Apple’s iPhones to feature an OLED screen, which Apple promises will make colors and graphics pop off the screen! The 5.8-inch screen features ultra-slim bezels, and for the first time in Apple’s iPhone history, the iPhone X lacks a home button and instead relies on Face ID – you can even pay with Face ID! The newly released iPhone X is also Apple’s only new device to have a portrait mode on the front-facing camera – revolutionary for social media and photographers. The iPhone X is a large phone, much like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which for some people may be too big, though a larger and crisper screen is always a beneficial upgrade.

The iPhone 8 is also a fantastic option for those looking to upgrade their phone, and while at a steep price also, if you trade old devices in and get quick cash for them, it helps alleviate the cost of the phone! The iPhone 8 features a plastic OLED screen, which means a thinner device, truer colors, less battery consumption and higher contrast ratio Apple’s iPhone 8 will be resistant to quick submersion in water, raindrops, and splashes. The iPhone 8, also features a new 1P68 Certification; this means it will be resistant at a maximum of 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes and that it needs no additional protection from dust, sand or dirt. The iPhone 8 also boasts a 10-nanometer A11 chip, which means more efficiency, more speed and hopefully less charging.

While these are all great options for Smartphones, it can be costly to invest in a new phone; don’t forget to check your desk drawer for old devices you can turn in and make money from to invest into a new iPhone X, iPhone 8, or Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
