Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will officially arrive in India on September 7

Mumbai — Samsung is all set to launch the flagship Galaxy Note 5 officially in India. Samsung has already started sending out Media invites for the September 7 event, which will be taking place in New Delhi.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which company calls the most powerful and dynamic Galaxy yet in its invite, initially released in August 2015 worldwide. Samsung has finally decided to make it available in the Indian market by September 7.

Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is powered by Exynos 7420 (64-bit, 14nm) Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 + Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 CPU and Mali-T760MP8 GPU.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 sports a 5.7″ Quad HD Super AMOLED display (2560 x 1440 pixels) with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and 518 ppi pixel density. The device measures 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6 mm in resolution and weighs 171g.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has 16MP primary camera on the back as well as 5MP front-facing camera. It comes in two storage variants, i.e., 32/64GB with no card slot for expandability. The device is coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery.

The phone also offers S-Pen (sample rate 240Hz), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and support for NFC.
