Samsung Galaxy M30 to launch in India soon, tipped to start at Rs. 15,000

Samsung has recently amped up its budget smartphone segment with the launch of Samsung Galaxy M10 and M20 smartphones. While these smartphones are doing already good, the Korean giant is now gearing up to launch yet another device in its M-series. The upcoming handset will be dubbed as Samsung Galaxy M30, and we already have the alleged pricing and launch details of the device.

Reported by IANS, the Samsung Galaxy M30 will be launched in India by February itself. Furthermore, it will go on sale in the first week of March at a price of Rs 14,990. Notably, the Galaxy M30 is going to be the beefiest smartphone in the M-series.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Specifications (Expected)

If reports are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy M30 will arrive with a punchy Super-AMOLED Infinity V display. The panel is expected to carry a full-HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.

Under the hood, the handset is tipped to get powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 SoC based on 14nm process. The same has been used on the Galaxy M20. Moreover, the M30 will reportedly come in 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage combinations. There are also rumours stating the presence of triple rear cameras on the phone.

Other speculated specifications include a USB type-C port, fast charging, massive 5,000mAh battery and Android 9 Pie with OneUI on top.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Price in India (Expected)

As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy M30 will reportedly be priced at Rs. 14,999 in India for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The higher models may reside in the 17-18K price bracket. Being exclusive to Amazon, the device will be sold online starting the month of March.

The existing Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10 smartphones were launched in January for a starting price of Rs. 10,990 and Rs. 7,990, respectively. The top-end model of Galaxy M10 retails for Rs. 8,990 whereas the top-end variant of Galaxy M20 is available for Rs. 12,990, giving good competition to Xiaomi and Asus smartphones. The company has kept four flash sales up till now for the devices mentioned above. The upcoming fifth one is scheduled for February 19 on Amazon India as well as Samsung Online Shop.
