Reliance communication, under the leadership of Anil Ambani has launched Smart care on Twitter that will provide various account management services to the wireless subscribers through the micro-blogging site’s platform. The main motive to start this service is to provide users with some information without them needing to approach the traditional customer care services.

Gurdeep Singh, the CEO of consumer business, Reliance communications pointed out that this step will empower the customers and make sure that they get a proper backend assistance of the data that will inform of the best choice that they can make to get an all-round experience.

Arvinder Gujral, director, business development, Twitter Asia-Pacific, applauded the efforts by Reliance communications, stating that as the time people spend on social platforms is increasing, taking such initiatives will make sure that the subscriber’s productivity doesn’t go down.

The other advantages of Smart care include the fact that from anywhere in the world, at any time you can pay bills, recharge online, monitor your usage and manage your account without the need for a call or a visit to the store. The best thing for this service is that there are no extra costs other than the data that will be used to access twitter.

The user will also not need to make any special account, their existing twitter account is sufficient for accessing the services.@RelianceMobile is the twitter handle that the user needs to Tweet to manage his/her account. To deregister, you just have to send a tweet to @RelianceMobile with #deregister.
