Lately, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has been teasing the upcoming Redmi Note 7 launch on all its social media platform. Notably, the handset is confirmed to arrive on Feb 28 in the country. Now, the ‘Notify Me’ option has now gone live for the Redmi Note 7 on the Flipkart.

That being said, interested consumers can subscribe to the Notify Me button to get notified about all the updates related to the launch, availability, pricing, offers and more. Certainly, the Redmi Note 7 will be exclusive to the e-commerce giant Flipkart.

Additionally, there are also rumours suggesting the launch of Redmi Note 7 Pro alongside the Note 7. The former is also expected to get an In-display fingerprint scanner. Anyways, we are yet to hear any official wordings on the same.

Redmi Note 7 Specifications, Features

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 sports a large 6.3-inch LTPS display with a full-HD+ resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. It also boasts of a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, thanks to the small dew-drop notch on top. The panel further touts a 450 nits brightness, 84% NTSC colour gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with 2.5D curved glass protection on top. Xiaomi claims it to bear a screen-to-body ratio of 84%.

Under the hood, the device gets powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. The handset comes in 3/32GB, 4/64GB, 6/64GB RAM and storage variants with the option to expand further up to 256GB using a microSD card. As of now, we have no confirmation regarding which variants will make it to India.

In the optics department, Note 7 gets a dual camera setup at the back. The setup comprises a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 sensor. It is used for outputting 12 MP images with large 1.6 μm pixels and real-time HDR. There’s also a 5-megapixel depth sensor for portraits. At the front, we have a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with AI face unlock, AI smart beauty, and other nifty AI features.

The Redmi Note 7 runs MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo. Above all, it is backed by a massive 4000mAh with a type-C USB charging port and a standard 5V/2A charger in the box. Nonetheless, the device also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 with supported charging bricks.

Sensors on board consist of a gyroscope, accelerometer, distance sensor, electronic compass, ambient light, and an infrared sensor. Lastly, the connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5, 4G VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
